Carl LARSSON - breakfast in the open, 1913 Le petit-déjeuner en plein air, ou sous les bouleaux, a été exécuté à l'été 1910 sur une petite île en face de la maison de Sundborn, au nord-ouest de Stockholm. À partir de cette époque, les aquarelles de Larsson forment une image idéalisée de la vie idyllique à la campagne qui est presque entièrement centrée sur les représentations de la famille de l'artiste. Le style Larsson est devenu un modèle qui a grandement influencé le design domestique suédois et la conscience nationale.
