Theodore Clement STEELE - le rameur Steele était particulièrement intéressé à capturer la beauté de la nature à travers des expressions de lumière et de couleur. Les travaux de Steele montrent une "compréhension" des aspects majestueux de la nature "avec" beaucoup de sentiment pour l'influence de la lumière et de l'atmosphère. Theodore Steele était un peintre impressionniste américain connu pour ses paysages de l' Indiana .
