Lullaby of Birdland est une chanson composée en 1952 par George Shearing. Les paroles sont créditées B. Y. Forster, pseudonyme de George David Weiss. Le titre est dédié à « Bird » (Charlie Parker) et au Birdland, club de jazz de New York nommé également en son honneur.
Le morceau a été enregistré par de nombreux chanteurs/chanteuses et instrumentistes dont Ella Fitzgerald, la chanteuse italienne Mina, le chanteur finnois Olavi Virta (en) et Sarah Vaughan. Bill Haley et ses Comets ont enregistré une version twist de Lullaby of Birdland Twist en 1962.

Une version française, Lola ou La Légende du pays aux oiseaux, en a été tirée par Jean Constantin. Arrangée par Michel Legrand, elle est interprétée en 1954 par l'octet « Les Blue Stars », premier groupe de jazz vocal français, où se côtoyaient Blossom Dearie, Christiane Legrand, Janine de Waleyne... et rencontre un succès international. Jacqueline François l'a également interprétée.
