Blowin' in the Wind a été écrite en avril 1962 par Bob Dylan. Archétype de la chanson de protestation, sa portée humaine et poétique en fit l'hymne d'une génération, et contribua, pour certains, à ériger son jeune auteur de 21 ans en porte-parole, en guide spirituel du mouvement des droits civiques.
