Edvard MUNCH - danse de la vie 1899
Considéré par la critique de son époque comme un peintre littéraire, Edvard Munch a peint cette "Danse de la vie" en 1899, lors d'un moment de crise existentielle qui le conduisit à se réfugier dans un sanatorium. Une intensité dramatique restituée au regardeur par la vitesse d'exécution de l'oeuvre
le tableau est considéré comme la pièce centrale du grand cycle thématique que Munch appelle la « Frise de la Vie ».
