La messe en ut mineur, KV. 427/417a, est une œuvre inachevée de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart écrite en 1782 et considérée comme l'une de ses œuvres majeures. Mozart la composa à Vienne, alors qu'il allait se marier avec Constanze (en français : Constance) Weber et que sa carrière de compositeur de musique sacrée auprès du prince-archevêque Colloredo était terminée ; il avait en effet promis à son père d'écrire une œuvre sacrée s'il parvenait à épouser Constance, alors gravement malade. Cette messe est directement influencée par l'art contrapuntique de Johann Sebastian Bach

On Easter Sunday, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and the Netherlands Radio Choir performed Mozart's 'Great Mass', the first Mass in which Mozart fully let go. The music is lush, great, ambitious and worldly.
