Maxfield Parrish (25 juillet 1870, 30 mars 1966), Philadelphie, Pennsylvanie, était un peintre et illustrateur américain connu pour ses œuvres utopiques et éthérées.
Maxfield Parrish was one of the greatest painters of the 20th century, which particularly in the era when he did most of his work was quite hostile to realism, clarity, and the technical mastery that is his hallmark. Fortunately there are a lot of good sources of information about him, the best of which is definitely Alma Gilbert's Maxfield Parrish Masterworks.
