La chanson implique que l’amour du chanteur pour son partenaire ne diminuera jamais, car il dit qu’il l’aimera jusqu’à ce que ce qui est physiquement impossible devienne réalité, il s’agit d’un amant qui sérénade sa bien-aimée. Par une autre interprétation possible, les paroles décrivent l'amour inconditionnel sans fin pour l'auditeur, chanté au nom du dieu abrahamique. Dans une troisième interprétation, la chanson exprime le propre amour du parolier pour l'humanité.
