"She" a été l'un des plus grands tubes de Charles Aznavour. Sortie en juin 1974, la chanson restera pendant quatre semaines en tête des charts britanniques ! Elle trustera également la première place en Irlande, pays d'Elvis Costello (qui en fera une superbe reprise, pour "Coup de Foudre à Notting Hill" justement), ainsi qu'en Australie et en Nouvelle-Zélande.
En France, le succès n'est pas au rendez-vous. "She" n'entrera même pas dans le top 50 de l'époque. Pourquoi ? Cette chanson a été initialement composée pour la série télévisée "Seven Faces of Woman" diffusée uniquement dans les pays anglo-saxons, ce qui lui a assuré une belle promotion. Autre explication, la version française du tube, intitulée "Les visages de l'amour", n'a pas le même cachet. Mais pour le plaisir, on vous laisse la (re)découvrir.
